LR DH62 and LR EH62 are both high-strength, Lloyds Register (LR) certified shipbuilding steel grades with the same yield strength 620 MPa, tensile strength 720-890 MPa, and chemical composition. The primary difference is their notch toughness: EH62 is tested at lower temperatures -40℃ C compared to DH62 -20℃ C, making EH62 better suited for arctic conditions.

LR DH62: "D" signifies Charpy V-Notch impact testing at -20℃ C.
LR EH62: "E" signifies Charpy V-Notch impact testing at -40℃ C.
Strength: Both have a minimum yield strength of 620 MPa and a tensile strength range of 720-890 MPa.
Application: Both are used for heavy-duty ship structures, but EH62 is required for colder, more extreme environments.
